Baby Nutrition Class.

  • Airfield Estate, Dundrum. (map)

I am a qualified and experienced Paediatric Dietitian and Mum. I have over 10 years experience in the hospital environment. I am a member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute and registered with CORU.

My aim is to empower you so that weaning is a relaxed and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. is the science behind weaning in an informal setting. I cover all aspects of baby and child nutrition and highlight the information to avoid.

Good eaters are not born, they are created. Weaning is a process and is an important part of your child's development, not only nutritionally but developmentally and socially. Getting it right sets a great foundation for future health.

I do a presentation on baby nutrition and digestion. I talk about the nutrients that your baby needs to grow and develop, the quantities they need and the best sources. I provide handouts. We discuss the foods you are already eating and which are suitable for baby, we look at suitable finger foods.

I have lots of commercial baby foods. We discuss food labels and food trickery/what to watch out for. We discuss all the common food related problems such as fussy eating, constipation, iron deficiency anaemia etc. and how to prevent them. Please read the reviews to see what others have thought of the class.
