Cathy Monaghan Paediatric Dietitian

Cathy Monaghan, Senior Paediatric Dietitian.

With over 15 years experience in CHI @ Temple Street, CORU registered and also a member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute, you are in safe hands with Cathy.

Cathy has extensive experience with weaning, fussy eating, non IgE milk allergy, constipation, iron deficiency anaemia, coeliac disease, growth and many other paediatric medical/nutritional issues.

Róisín is a CORU registered Senior Paediatric Dietitian with many years experience in CHI @ Temple Street and community health. Róisín is available to help with a wide range of issues including non IgE milk allergy, reflux, constipation, iron deficiency anaemia, healthy eating, coeliac disease, vegetarian and vegan diets, fussy eating and growth, metabolic conditions and many other paediatric feeding issues.

Róisín also holds an MSc. in Food Innovation, Sustainability and Product Design.

Róisín is passionate about helping families learn about food through simple practical approaches. On top of her clinical experience she has years of experience developing recipes and cookbooks for special dietary conditions.

Emer Bateman, Senior Paediatric Dietitian.

Emer is a Paediatric Dietitian with over 12 years’ experience working in paediatric hospitals and community services in both Ireland and the UK. She is CORU registered and a member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute.

She most recently worked as a Senior Paediatric Dietitian in CHI @ Crumlin for over 7 years where she gained a comprehensive level of experience in managing the nutritional needs of infants and children of all ages. Her clinical work spans areas such as failure to thrive, fussy eating, weight management, non IgE milk allergy, iron-deficiency anaemia and many other nutritional issues.

She is passionate about childhood nutrition and the importance of optimising nutrition during critical stages of growth development and the impact that this has on lifelong health. Her aim as a dietitian is to equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge and skills to raise happy, healthy, adventurous eaters at every age.

Telenutrition is when a registered dietitian (RD) provides medical nutrition therapy to clients via online platforms.
