Hummus is surprisingly easy to make and most of the ingredients are store cupboard ingredients. You can can add the garlic to your taste. Chickpeas are a vegetable protein and are a great addition to any diet. They also contain lots of fibre and feed the microbiome (the good bacteria in the small intestine). Tahini (sesame seed paste) is considered a potential allergen so should be trialed on it’s own first.
